The Rainbow Reef in the Somosomo Strait, a stretch of water between Fiji's second and third largest islands -- Vanua Levu and Taveuni -- is the ideal location to enjoy this soft coral wonderland.

But soft coral is not the only attraction! From brightly coloured coral reef fish to exquisite macro life such as nudibranchs, from schools of pelagic wanderers such as mackerel and barracuda to shy turtles, from graceful manta rays to reef sharks. Depending on your dive location, you will enjoy all or some of this amazing variety of underwater activity.

Fiji has a large number of excellent dive operations who will put together a dive package for you including tanks, and advise you of the best dive spots in their area. Night dives are usually organised on request, and gear is often available for hire if required. Well-equipped boats will transfer you from dive shop out to the dive site and back.
