Location
SUNSET Waya Beach Resort is located on the southern tip of Waya Island in the Yasawa Islands group. The resort fronts onto one of the most pristine white sandy beach’s found anywhere in the South Pacific. It really is pure paradise uniquely situated as it is possible to enjoy a true Fijian holiday experience.
FROM NADI, Awesome Adventures offers their new fast cat "Yasawa Flyer" to transfer passengers to all Yasawa resorts. The Flyer departs from Denarau Marina in Nadi daily at 9.15am. Cost is FJ$140.00 pp return to/from Sunset. Children 5 -15 years half price. A/Adv free coach picks from Horizon at 8am & drops back at 7pm daily.
Accommodation
Beachfront Bures, Dormitory or tent sites are available. The Bures have ensuite facilities, a double & single bed & have traditionaly thatched grass roofs & woven bamboo wall linnings. The Bures have no fans, hot water, tea/coffee making or EL power points. Mosqitoe nets over the beds are provided.
SUNSET accommodations have a touch of real Fijian Village charm.
Dining & Entertainment
A simple dining bure on the beach offers meals combining fresh seafood, tropical fruits and native vegetables along with traditional Fijian lovo feasts and beach BBQ’s.
Live Fijian entertainment every night.
Activities
The beach is ideal for sunbathing, snorkeling, swimming and beachcombing at any tide. Guided spectacular ocean view highland trekking & cultral village visits can be arranged. Diving, snorkelling & PADI Dive courses are available.
